i'm considering doing that. i already bought two cans of spray on undercoating. but it wouldn't protect all the electronic gizmos, wiring and tubes - that's what i'm concerned about. would a rock, or maybe tire spray during the rainy season, cause problems? should i reinstall the plastic liner?

Gobs of people I know (including me) haven't run the fender liners for years once the fenders were trimmed. It really helps the engine bay compartment cool down. More dust/dirt definitely gets in there, the engines are pretty well sealed up. The one concern is plowing through creeks at fast speed. Without a liner there is a higher probability of getting water into your air box and hydrolocking. Even with the liners you can find where it's happened, so the easy solution is to simply not jam through water for that cool spray picture. Rainy seasons have been fine.

Sliders, drag link flip, frame brace and stabilizer relocation all done at epic addictions in fresno. I am real happy with the flip kit. The jeep rides a lot better.

question: i like the look of the flares installed without the plastic liners, but it looks like they protected a lot of stuff in the front wheelwells. is it OK to leave them off, or should i trim them and reinstall?
They look good all cleaned up. Glad I could help.

Finally got my Poison Spyder crusher flares finished up. Got them Linex'd. Really happy with how they look. Install was pretty time consuming, but then, I am not super mechanical so I was just talking my time making sure I didn't screw anything up.

I look at Mt Diablo often and wish there were some trails there.
