Oh yeah. Electrical work is so much fun. That's 80 percent of what I do every week at the shop.

How des the back part of the hard top mount? Does it use the rear door frame holes? I like your idea!

at this second.. it just sits there.. theres a couple of brackets for the trektop that happen hold it in place. In the near future (once i finish up the interior project), i will weld to nuts to the roll bar in the back and use a bolt through the hardtop with rubber washers on either side to keep it from leaking.. The next step after that is I plan on welding up a custom gear rack that attaches to those same bolts. This all started because i need to carry gear but I want to be able to run a soft top. I did put the trektop windows in place last week and it looks great, but i need to find a convertible top guy to make a custom panel that allows me to use the trektop rear windows without using the actual top. Stay tuned

Let me know the top guy you find. I'm fab'ing an enclosed safari top/back/duster combo that I can run year round. I need some re-stitching, and some fabric added. Then I need to waterproof it.

Default Whats next....

So I have been building my 2door over the last couple months. I got my gussets welded on last week and got my 37s on. I am happy with the amount of flex and gears are coming sooner rather then later. Time to get hydro assist too...Click image for larger version
