Default Stopped wishing and just did it!

Hello to all,

After wanting a Jeep for longer than I can remember, I decided last week to shop around my 08 Titan. I found and purchased my 07 Wrangler Unlimited X last week, and my feet haven't touched the ground yet. I can not wait to spend hours on here and learn everything I can to make my Jeep "my own". This is the beginning of a lifelong passion for me. It's nice that at 30, I can still feel like I did at Christmas when I was a kid!

Thanks to all... Already putting a list of modifications together... I made the dreaded sacrifice for 2wd, but I hope to make is a servicable poser by the time I'm done. And since the wife is hooked on Jeep too, I may be able to pull the old bait and switch... Give her this one once I'm done, then go 4wd!!! HA...

A co-worker of mine has not let up on me yet after buying 2wd, but I gave him this analogy that let's me sleep at night. I might be having sex with the ugliest and fattest chearleader on the squad, but God damn it, I don't care... SHE'S A CHEARLEADER!!! HA HA HA

I know how you feel. I have had 4x4s most of my life but this is my first jeep. I had to have more practical (useful) vehicles. I treat mine like a large four wheeler (atv). Don't worry, you can convert it for not a whole lot. You just need front end, transfer case w/linkage, and both drive shafts. If you shop around at either junk yards or the 'for sale' forum you can find them cheap.
