Hey guys, wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I’ve owned several Jeep’s over the years and just bought my first JK. The only one I haven’t modified is my wife’s WK2 Overland Summit. For some reason she like it the way it is. The JK is a great addition to my 1975 CJ-5 but I’m running out of room to store the toys. I couldn’t pass it up since it had most of the things I wanted to do to a JK already. I guess I’m missing out on some of the fun of doing the mods myself but my wife reminds me that I don’t have the time right now anyway. I’m still trying to figure out everything that’s been done while deciding what I’d like to change. I can’t seem to leave anything alone. They all become perpetual projects for me but that’s why I like Jeep’s. Almost every one of them is different. I’ve been working on a lot of wiring gremlins which has kept me busy between kids sports events. I swapped out the front bumper and grill back to a stock grill and VKS bumper that I modified to fit my Warn 8274-70. I think that winch will be a great upgrade and it doesn’t look as goofy as I thought it would on the front of the JK. Here a couple of pics of the JK. I also included a shot of my CJ which is half torn apart right now for a fuel injection upgrade and 4l70E swap. The 450hp small block Chevy will be happy with another gear for rolling down the highway.
