Default A Rook From The High Desert of So-Cal!

Hello all! I'm Jesse from the High Desert in So-Cal and thanks for being so welcoming. I never quite understood the point of owning a jeep until I got behind the wheel of one last year with work. At the end of our 6 week assignment I didn't want to give it back. After a little talking with the wife and a rental in Sedona (Scared her a little..lol) I convinced her to let me buy one. The unfortunate part is that she made the stipulation that I have to pay off the truck first (Hurry up June). At this point I'm not an owner yet but I hope to have a Rubicon sitting in my driveway by the end of the year. I have a few descisions that I have yet to settle and they are: New or Used, Auto or Manual, and color? I'm starting to lean more towards new seeing how Jeeps seem to hold their value pretty well and I dont want to drop $23K on an 07' with 80k miles on it....lol. The Rubi I drove with work was an auto but I'm kinda leaning more towards the Manual for more driver input and gear selection. Please feel free to throw me your 2 cents on these topics an who knows if I collect enough I'll be the proud owner of a Rubicon a little sooner...haha. Thanks for taking the time to read my lengthy intro and I look forward to becoming a member of the Jeep family as well as the JK forum family.

This is just a loner..
