Few weeks ago placed an order for a X 4dr so I'm just waitin' for it to arrive and I definitely can't wait. Won't be doing much "customizing" maybe a 3" lift and different wheels but other than that I think I'll be happy with it the way it is. I'll post up a photo or two once I pick it up. I'm callin' the dealer today to find out where it is on the production schedule.

Dealer called yesterday and said that my JK was pick'd so it should be between 3-6 wks for delivery.

I have the feeling there's going to be issues when it shows up, namely fog lights and tow hooks!!! I've already told my sales guy..it better have fog lights and tow hooks on it or there's going to be a problem. :sad:

I can finally get rid of my POS Nissan 4cyl auto...can't run the A/C and climb any type of hill with it......it's completely gutless and this is what I pull my boat with!!

Off Topic: Went fishing last night in the rain. Weather guy said total rain fall 1/4" estimate.....HECK, we had that much in about 20 minutes!!! I had standing water in the bottom of the boat. Finally gave up and heading in (that was an experience in itself) Self Note: High speeds in boat while raining will drill holes in your eyes!!!

 

I was back in Richmond this last weekend.....Next time I will let you know so we can compare JKs! You should have yours by then.

 

We just rolled through richmond yesterday. Weld=come tot he forum. Some freinds got together & rand big levels over the weekend. We had 2 JK's 2 TJ's 1 fullsize dodge ram & a full size blazer. There wer some fun runs although the breakover angle made for some noisy wheeling going over what I assume were run off diverteres about every 200 foot.

 

Well the dealer called and said my JK is scheduled to ship 9/29/07 Now let's see if it shows up with fog lights and hooks...if it doesn't no paperwork will be completed...til it's fixed. Even if it takes them another 2 weeks to correct the issue OR if they say it's what it is....then I will be walkin' away without it and saving myself the monthly vehicle payments on something that I didn't order and was promised. Now I have to sell my pickup as soon as I know for sure it's on a truck or train heading this way...to help with the down payment.

I won't get excited until I'm sitting behind the wheel driving off the lot...then it's time to burn a tank of fuel with it, maybe even sleep in it the first night! Wonder if my wife would think that's a little strange?!!!

 

Dealer called.....my Jeep is in!!

I'm going to stop by tonight and look at it and see if the fog lights are on it. If they are, I'll call the sales guy tomorrow and arrange a time to pick it up...if it's not got the lights....I'll call him to find out when my Jeep will be ready to pickup WITH fog lights!

Shipped Monday...dealer got it Wednesday...not too bad of a turn around time.

Now I have to sell my Nissan ASAP! Dang I'm a HAPPY CAMPER right now!!!
Can't wait to drive off the lot with it!

Well, my Jeep can with Fog lights and tow hooks!! And also floor mats too but I probably won't use them since I'm planning on having the inside Rhino lined soon after I pick it up.
I'm going Friday late afternoon to sign the paperwork and pick it up!!! First thing is to hook the boat up and find a good spot to take a few photos of the two together!

 

OK.....after puttin' 100+ miles on it.....I figured I'd stop by the house and post up.... Oh sorry.....no photos.....just seem to not be able to take the time to get out and shoot some photos. I'll see if I can't pry myself out of it long enough to shoot a few and post them.

Been setting things up inside it so I have everything I need with me, CD case, tools, flashlight, ash tray, etc..

I'm off again......got part of the tops off and cruisin'....gotta get my boat ready to head out to the river next.
