A reintroduction...

I registered here over a year ago under the username of opdsgt... stands for Omaha Police Sergeant. That's what I do for a living.

I'm a first time Jeep owner and modaholic (just don't show my sig line to my wife). And I love my JK.

I was a moderator on a couple sportbike related discussion boards over the years and have really enjoyed my time here. The national JK community is made up of some great men and women and this board is the best of its kind.

I asked Way of Life to change my username to my old handle I used for years on other boards - Chain. I got the nickname "Chainstretcher" ("Chain" for short) from riding friends at work because I had a heavy throttle hand and wore out chains and sprockets on my literbikes pretty quickly.

So there's your proof - cops are real people too (and I only write tickets to about 10% of all the people I stop these days - giving breaks effects change just as well as a citation, and curries favor for the law enforcement community).

So, I figuered I'd reintroduce myself. Thanks for the advice and friendship. I've sold both my bikes, have Jeep Fever pretty badly, and I think I've found a home here...
