Default rear window, soft top

I am a recent new JK owner of a 2013 4 door model. I have driven with my soft top on a few occasions, choosing my hardtop for most day to day activities. However, with my recent installed soft top, I continue to have the rear window detach from my tail gate when either I have the windows rolled down or have the sun roof open. Even the clips that hold the rear tailgate bar detach. I have gotten caught with a rain filled back end, unknown to the fact the rear window had detached. Does anyone have any ideas on what is going on or what can be done to prevent. I like riding with options the soft top presents, but I am slowly considering the hardtop as the only viable solution.

First let me say Welcome to the JK-Forum!

I'm having a hard time visualizing the problem you describe but I'm sure someone will know what you are saying. You'll probably get more responses if you post up the same question and maybe post a pic or two (for the visually challenged like me) in the subforum below.
