Default Really want to come back to a Jeep but have questions.

First let me say hi. Second I have owned several Jeeps over the last 15 years but with a growning family at the time we out grew them. Now with three kids and the four door five passenger seating unlimited I really want one and to be back in a Jeep. My concern is being able to haul materials for home projects. Considered buying a trailer but just wondering about the towing weight limits and how big of a trailer I could tow and really looking to see what it is that you guys are doing in these cases. Thank you for your help and I hopefully get back in a Jeep.

I think the stock towing package is rated to pull 3500lbs. There's also a third backseat option you can purchase so you can fit even more people in a JKU

Welcome to the forum, and I hope you pull the trigger on a new Unlimited.

I don't tow with a trailer, but the convenience of dropping the back seats and the large storage capacity in the rear, comes in real handy when picking up large supplies at Home Depot, etc.

In addition to the advice you'll get in this thread from experienced 'towers', here are a couple other threads that might assist you.
