Not new to the jeep world have had a few jeeps 2 XJs 98 and 2001. Wife got a 2013 over a year ago (STOCK) and planning out a simple little build for her. The old 01 xj is the crawler for now so don't need a crazy build for her as it's her DD.
looking at BB lifts 2.5 range maybe. I have acquired some BGF AT-KO 2s that are 32.8s i think so those will be added with the lift. I'll be poking around researching as the JKU is a new platform for me to work with.

Welcome! These JKs are pretty easy to work on, and just about everything has been covered. My 2013 JKU has been pretty solid for 92k miles. We tend to have shoddy radiators, but other than that pretty reliable. The rads typically get pinhole leaks where the fins meet the side, typically driver's side. Hard to see with simple visual inspection till you get the fan and other things off. You'll often just notice reservoir level needing to be topped off regularly.

That was going to be one of my searches because I can smell coolant but I can't find any dripping. Like it's a small leak and burning off faster than dripping stage. I've topped it off once after we got the jeep because it was a bit low. Than I just topped it off again a few weeks ago. I've looked for puddles or drips and a super bright LED light and couldn't see anything. So I'm not crazy or loosing my mind when it comes to the coolant. I'll keep an eye on it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I just found pics of my old one in this thread, post #24. This, and the original post in the thread are pretty common.

I'd catch a whiff of coolant, but never see it. it would always just burn off before anything could drip to the garage floor.
Oh and I pressure tested that sucker too and it would hold pressure overnight. I finally decided to throw a new radiator at it just to do it, and as soon as I pulled that old one out it gave up its dirty little secret.

Welcome... also look on the seam on the intake... there can be a slight pitting that allows stuff through... and as you said it evaporates... if you find noting with the radiator, it could be a good second spot. I've also heard of the drain valve leaking.
