Old school Jeeper getting into th 21st century
Hi, I'm derf and I'm a Jeepaholic.
So I just picked up a new 2012 JK Sport today. It's about my 10th Jeep now. I mostly do old full size Jeeps. But I decided to get into the 21st century and get a Jeep that I can actually find parts for. I use this username on other forum so some of you may recognize me. You may also recognize my gear ratio calculator http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html.
Here's me picking up the new Jeep:
It has less than 50 miles on it and I'm already planning the mods.

Yeah, I'm going to order the stubby winch bumper tomorrow since I have a winch ready to go on. And, of course, a CB radio of some kind. I probably won't lift it for a while since I have an 84 CJ7 that's really built for hardcore wheeling with a stretched wheelbase and spring over conversion with a D44/9" axle combo. And my 86 J10 is no slouch either.
I'm also going to do a bit of searching because I want to put some switches in the cubby hole where the power window switches go. I haven't figured out the right search terms (or not many people do that so it's not there to find). I'll figure it out one way or the other.
