Oklahoma Jeeper and car guy
Hi all. I am Jarrod, from the OK Panhandle. I am on a couple of the other jeep sites. But seemed anytime I googled how to do something jeep related, it always pointed me to JK-Forum. So figured it was about time I became a member!
I have had a few jeeps. First is a 1997 TJ sport, with 4.0L automatic. I still have it. In 2013 I bought a bullet silver Freedom Edition auto. Added a 2.5 AEV lift and 35" Nitto G2, front and rear bumpers, 3" nerf bars, 10K winch and a few other upgrades. It was my daily driver. My dad had 2014 white Freedom Edition almost identical to mine. My mom rolled it in a storm 3 months after he bought it. The insurance company was going to total it, I worked out a deal to buy it. Spent the winter buying oem parts off ebay and craigslist and put it back together. After I drove it a while and knew it was ok, sold it to some friends. Recently my 2013 started having electrical gremlins, had it at two different dealers and neither could seem to fix it. Finally got tired of messing with it. So used that as an excuse to trade it for a 2015 Rubicon Sunset Orange Pearlcoat, auto, 4:10, and alpine. I pulled all my stuff off the 2013 before I traded it. Have most of it put on the 2015.
So far the 2015 has 2.5 AEV lift, Moto Metal MO961 wheels, 285/65R18 Nitto Terra Grappler G2, 10K winch, 50" led light bar, 3" nerf bars, HD front and rear bumpers, tinted windows, eyebrow front windshield, bosh icon wipers, roll bar mounted fire extinguisher, painted inside of hardtop matte black, black angry grill, AFE pro-dry filter, pumpkin audio android head unit, and back up camera. I am still working on getting the fallowing completed, black with orange stitching leather interior kit, heated seats front and rear, 20" bumper mounted led light bar, wire in switches for light bars, 15" black shorty antenna, fortin remote start, and led interior lights.
I am also a big fan of Trans Ams and Corvettes as well. I have a gold SE Y88 400/auto 1978 TA, balck and gold (bandit clone) 400/auto 1978 TA, blue 455/4 speed 1978, and 1979 Anniversary TA 400/4 Speed. And the vettes are, 1981 bronze/beige 4 speed stingray, 2006 LeMan blue Z06, and a Lingenfelter 2010 Blade Silver ZR1. And of course no garage is complete without a General Lee. Mine is a 1970 Dodge Charger 440/auto. I guess we all need an addiction, mine is cars. The 2015 Corvette is my Dad's and the 2002 Thunderbird is my Mom's.
I hope the attachments upload, not sure I did it right!
