Newbie from Fort Bragg, NC
Greetings everyone, the wife and I finally bit the bullet and became proud owners of a 2015 JKU Sport this last month. Everyone on her side of the family drives a Rubicon with everything under the sun on it and they've been telling us how we're missing out, so here we are today. We're waiting on tax returns and Christmas cards to start really modifying, but so far we've tinted the tail lights, plasti-dipped the badge, added paracord grab handles and did the DIY mesh grill mod. Soon we'll be rockin' 35's and a 2.5" lift. Have a 50" led light bar in mind too, but we'll see how Santa feels this year...Anyways, thanks for all the advice and inspiration I've already found on this forum.

Welcome! I'm in Charlotte not too far from you guys. I've heard there are plenty of trails in ft Bragg. Is that true? I use to drive down and work in Womack but I never could find anyone who would take me to the trails. Guess they are a big secret.

As much as it pains me to say, I'm good friends with a co-worker who drives a heavily modded tacoma...Him and I have driven around the back sides of the drop zones with some positive outcomes. On the east side of bragg there's a couple acres of land the have some large ponds and hills to drive around on. Mostly all of the old humvee trails back there are washed out so you end up riding sideways, or simply cannot drive them. We're waiting for a good time to hit up smith lake, caught wind there's some really nice trails back there.

Go out by OP 7/8, pretty much the last right turn before you head out to Camp MacKall lots of good trails out there...Watch out for the big guns they usually setup right off the main road. Carry some food in a plastic bag and have your ACH, if they stop you tell them your bringing food out to the FARP...LOL Spent many years driving those back roads... Ahh good ole Fort Bragg!
