Hey everyone. I'm a newbie and I'm about to put in my order for a 2014 Sport S in Anvil. My questions are:
1) is the towing package worth it or would after market be better?
2) I've heard the factory rails are made of plastic, so which rails/rock sliders would be better?
3) about how long does production and delivery take?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome

1) Not to me. Easy install and much cheaper to do yourself. Not sure about gear selection on '14s, mine already had 4.10's.

2) I'm running Ace rails and have no complaints. They have taken some pretty good impacts saving my jeep with little more than a few dents and scratched powder coat on the rails.

3) I have no idea, but my guess is way too damn long when your waiting on it.

Thanks for the info. The tow package from Jeep doesn't seem to be worth it. Everyone says it'll be under warranty, but all that covers is the receiver and bumper. I've heard that the waiting is the worst part!
