Greetings,

I'm in the process of waiting for my new dozer colored 2012 Factory ordered 2 door Rubicon. I'm new to this forum but not new to Jeeps and other 4x4s. I've owned a CJ5 than various year Toyota FJ40s during the '80s. I've been holding out, waiting for the Pentastar to be put into the Wrangler.

My new Jeep factory order was placed the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I finally called the Chrysler 1-800 info number, concerning it's build status, last Thursday 12/29. The supplied Chrysler vots website link is a joke. I was told my Jeep has reached D1 status and gone beyond into the build process and is supposed to be shipped between 01/01/12 and 01/04. Whether that happens as expected is also up for debate; only time will tell.

I've been following this forum along the technical threads concerning suspension. I've read where some, but few, people have purchased the Eibach 2.7"/1" spring leveling kit. I would hope the people that have done this mod would respond to inform me, and anybody else, on how the stiffness aspect compares to stock. How does it handle through corners, wallowing reduction, and so on? Also was there any other modifications from stock on their JK that had to be employed because of this minor lift? I was contemplating going with longer then stock Bilsteins as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
