New wrangler owner
Just picked up a 2017 rubicon, my first jeep and it's a great vehicle. Does anyone know if 2016 side steps are rails fit 2017 I know they are the same body code but just making sure.

I live in the dfw area, and thank you I was looking at some rails and some vendors said the 16's wouldn't fit the 17's? I have two small children and they could use some help getting in and out of the Wrangler.

which venders? i can't imagine what they changed on the final year of the JK in regards to that fitment.

This could just be due to the '17s just rollin' out and they don't have the specs updated, so are erroring on the side of caution. I notice on Northridge4x4 you can't even select a 2017 as your vehicle yet, but if you go to Quadratec and search the common sliders and such, you'll see them designated for fitment with '07 - '17.

I have had a number of similar situations with vendors. They don't want to risk selling you something that won't work so until they can verify they just go with "no". Seems counter productive from a sales perspective but I suppose it's better than having the product returned and potentially pissing off a consumer.
I'm not a vendor, so my opinion is: yeah it should work

If they did indeed make any changes on things like that in the final year of the JK, that would rank up there with one of the dumbest things ever from a production standpoint. I am 99.9999999% sure that since Quadratec has already updated all their products to reflect the '17 models, you are in the clear.
