New from Winston-Salem area
Hey guys, new member here. Name is Tim, and I just bought a 2009 Deep Water Blue JKU Rubicon. Back in 01, I bought a Red Rock TJ SE 2.5, and took it from parking lot to rock ready. (33's, locked F/R, 5.13's, OBA, custom fabbed F/R bumpers, Tomken 2x4 sliders, etc, etc.) Kept it a few years, and when the wife and I had a little one on the way, well, "Thumper" wasn't exactly the most baby friendly vehicle. SOld it and got an (yuk) Explorer.
Fast forward a few years, and now that the little guy is 6, it was time for another Jeep. The wife and I had been talking for a while, and finally the right one came along at the right price. So, I get to start the build up all over again, although this time, it will be slower since my budget is restricted some..who knew kids were so expensive?!?! J/K, he is worth every bit of it.
Here is a picture of the Rubicon, as well as one of Thumper, just because. I look forward to seeing what works for the JK, and following along with all you guys. I have already been reading up on some things I wanna do, and I am looking forward to getting started on my JK!
