Default New (sort of) to the forum!

Hello all! I've been trolling around the forum since my wife bought me an 08 rubicon unlimited for farther' day. I've only been able to drive it briefly when I was home on leave from Iraq. But since we are nearing the end of our time here, I'd thought I'd stop trolling and participate! I live in Indianapolis Indiana... go ahead tell me how bad the Colts will be this year - yes I'm a fan - have been since they moved to Indy. I'm a jeep newbie, or i guess a wrangler newbie. I had and XJ which my oldest son drives now. I always wanted one and now I have one! Not sure I'm real experienced at off roading... Not in any structured kind of way. So it would be great to hook up with more experienced jeep owners and maybe have them show me the ropes. I can't wait to start adding stuff to the jeep, that is if I can get it away from my wife - I'm beginning to think she may not have bought it just for me! I love looking at all the jeeps and options on this forum. Sometimes it gets to be overwhelming! But if I've learned anything, you guys are nothing if not helpful.

Great job on a great forum! I hope to continue enjoying all it has to offer!

-Rod

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service. I'm pretty new also but this forum is great. You have found the right place to be with any Jeep question. Get back home soon and safe brother! Also post a pic of your ride whenever you are able. We loves us some Jeep pictures around here.
