Yup I got it. I just use a quick compression test to see if there is a mechanical problem at all. That way I know if it is electrical or not. I will put a thin piece of paper (like note pad paper) next to the exhaust pipe. If the paper is pulled back in (very obvious) you know you have an exhaust value issue. Typically a cracked block/head gasket will result in water in the oil or water leaking somewhere. It will also give you an indication of the overall condition of the engine. Since this seems like a slight miss at idle I am hoping you don't have a mechanical issue. Good luck!

Default Issue Fixed

After replacing plugs, coil packs, O2 sensors, injectors and MAP sensor without any luck, I ended up replacing the head, lifters and rocker arms. Now it runs smooth at idle, accelerates smoothly and no check engine lights.

I used the motor city mechanic YouTube videos to walk me through the process. I did it in my driveway and so can you.
