Well idk how much flack im gonna get for joining your forum cause i own a Liberty, which we all know isnt really a Jeep, but i did it anway. One reason joining though is to find new mods, i.e. gears and lockers for the front dana 30. Jeep installed the same differential in the KK, however it has IFS of course. Most importantly try and get in touch with some locals cause there are alot of Jeepers around and I dont have anybody to ride with yet.

I'll welcome you. Hang around in here long enough and you'll be wanting to trade that car of yours in. Why dont you save your mod money, trade up for a wrangler and mod it?

you know, i have never wanted a wrangler cause they were never really practical to me and then the 4 door came out. well i test drove one and really didnt like the interior, i really needed something more comfortable feeling on the inside. so i ended up with an 08 Liberty. Its nice and comfortable on the inside (only complaint being the foot room to the right of the gas pedal) and itll hold its own on the trails. i know its not a wrangler, to some its unacceptable but i think it does just fine off road in the areas ive been. except the one time when i got it stuck in 3' deep water with a very soft bottom, which if i had some m/t instead of the a/t at the time i might have been alright cause i made it a looooong way through before getting stuck
