New from New Mexico
Hello. After 13 years with a 97 TJ which gave me all she could, never much trouble, I finally traded in for a 2010 Rubicon (2 door).
The TJ lived with me in Massachusetts for quite a while, then I moved to Albuquerque, NM which probably extended the life of the old Jeep 2 or 3 years due to the lack of salt on the roadways around here.
New Jeep is mostly stock, though some lift, wheels and tires, and bumpers are planned for install in just a couple weeks. I've been incredibly pleased with the stock Jeep, and it did well in one trip to Moab last September, but there are far more places it couldn't handle. Though the new high price of gas might make me regret the larger wheels. Oh well.
