I bought a 2000 TJ in '99 and kept it for 3 years, but had to get rid of it because of practicality (or lack thereof...) and bought a used ZJ. Once the 4-door Wranglers came out, I jumped on it. I bought my JK new in May of '07. It's a Bright Silver Unlimited Sahara. It's still stock except for a few minor modifications. Regardless, I take it on trails and forest roads regularly in George Washington National Forrest (GWNF) here in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. I would like to start doing more significant modifications this fall, but they will be relatively tame since it's my DD.
I've visited this site quite a bit over the years for valuable information and I thought it was time I start contributing!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I find out tomorrow if I'm going to be part of a large agency-wide lay-off.. 
If I'm spared, I'll begin some of my more significant mods such as a small suspension lift, a little armor underneath and maybe, if the pocketbook allows...some new gears. (The stock 3.21's are dogs offroad and I need to do some towing...)
If I fall victim... I don' t know what will happen. I just hope I will be able to keep it...
