It's thoughtful say hello. I have owned two '87 xj's, one '89 xj, and one '98 grand Cherokee limited. Right now I'm in a 2014 Ford Fusion and I hate it. It's not to quick it tops out at 127mph if I buy another car it'll be a Subaru STi but for now I'm sick of sitting on the ground and I should probably slow down. Was looking at buying a $5k cj or yj because I'm of the old school mentality. But the more I've thought about it I think I'm going to trade this ford turd in for a jku in the 2012 or newer bracket so I can have the 3.6l to work with on a six speed manual. If possible a rubicon just because I know it'll be a minute before I can do the expected mods. I've owned over one car per year I've had a drivers license and if there's one thing I've learned it's that no vehicle was manufactured the way I want it so it's time to go back to Jeeps. Some expectations/pipe dreams of what ideas are rattling around are 4-6inch lift 35"-37" tires with 15-17" beadlocks, different fenders front and back, possibly 5.13 in a Dana 60, I've been out of the 4x4 loop awhile so forgive me if I don't know what I'm talking about. I know a little about a lot but will be first to admit I don't know a lot about anyone thing, different bumpers and grill ( I won't be sticking with the seven slot grill) bumpers I haven't decided. Kind of like the poison spider stuff but would like to find something obscure if possible or see if I can design my own and have a friend fab them up.. Love to do a ls swap but I don't expect to win the lotto. Lol. I will most likely spray it inside and out with rhino liner. I will probably put too much light on it because my fiancée is deaf and if it's dark I plan on making it light as possible so we can communicate between ourselves and with our friends. I'd love a big sexy warn winch but again depending on my lotto winning status it might end up as being a harbor freight lol. I'm not stranger to off road and mud but I've never messed around with this southern sand/clay slime shit so it'll be an adventure. Im prior military (Army) infantry sniper, my body is all busted up from that, being a carpenter for 10 years, and a dozen car wrecks and a couple motorcycle wrecks. I like building guns.. I'm a daily concealed carry man with a healthy interest in firearms. I think that's a fair amount of random bs that makes little to no impact on anything jeep related. Anyway you all are welcome to give me shit or ask me questions. If I don't know ill tell you to ask someone else. If you're making fun of me get in line because I don't usually give a shit what people think. But I like to be social. I look forward to figuring this forum out. Forums aren't my strong suit so bare with me.
