Hey Guys and Gals,

Glad to be here! I am new to the Jeep community with a 2015 JK Rubicon Unlimited. Currently in the Northern VA area, I'm planning to take the wrangler all over the place! As far as mods go, I've done some small stuff here and there (mostly cosmetic). Next project is either a lift or installation of the sPod. Never thought I'd get this addicted to mods LOL

Welcome to the Forum.

Are you looking to build a rock crawling rig or an expedition rig?

Thanks! Mine will definitely be more of an expedition rig, although mild trail riding is possible. The AEV JK Platform is definitely a style I like but I'm definitely open to moving in a new direction as I get more exposed to the world of Wranglers!

BTW, nice username lol. I think I know exactly what that's from

I'm in Clifton, VA… Not too far from Manassas!

And I'll get a picture up soon! Just installed the AEV front bumper but currently deciding whether or not to keep it on due to the rake with the stock Rubicon suspension

Where does my user name come from??

I am in Alexandria. Let me know if your selling the AEV bumper. I am also building and expedition rig and that bumper is on my list of things to buy. Mid-Atlantic overland Society is also a facebook group you might enjoy. Most of their members are based in our area.

Well if it's from where I think it is, I believe it's the term used in aviation where pilots request ATC services and handoffs during a VFR flight. Am I close? Lol

Sweet I'll check that group out! As far as the bumper goes, I have had it for 4 days now so if I was to sell it, it would go for 1200-1250. It's in the same perfect condition as when I got it, it's assembled, and there isn't a tax ($65-$75) or shipping charge ($175-$250). I'd still lose the installation cost as well. If I don't sell it, I'll save it for when I lift my rig so it doesn't rake as bad.
