Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum - glad to see something for just JK folks as well as the other, broader, forums too.
I've owned a ZJ previously and currently in the market for a 4x4 JKU, close to stock so I can build it myself and leaning towards a Sahara since I plan to daily drive it.
My first exposure to a Jeep that I can remember was Basic Training in 1985. Drove one while stationed in S. Korea and fondly remember those things as nearly indestructible. The M-60 mount made a great roll-bar in a pinch. We didn't have them long as our unit was near the DMZ and first in line for the new HMMV's. We received the 4-door armored fastback versions - which probably explains the desire for a JKU and ultimately a Wild Boar fastback hard top.....)
Anyway, looking forward to being part of the group and getting dirty whenever possible.
