New Member Fl Panhandle
Hello Everyone,
New member here located near Tallahassee Fl. I am a new Jeep owner after wanting one for over a decade. I have had my 2011 2dr Wrangler for about 2 months now and I am loving it despite its quarks. It is a simple hard top Sport, but I can think of no better place to start customizing.
One of the quarks is a leak on the drivers and passengers floor boards. This leak brought me here for answers and I think my potential fix will have me posting a technical piece soon.
Glad to be a part of the community.

Welcome, Neil! Sounds like you may have figured out how to fix your leak but if not, here's a document that may help you chase down the culprit.

Welcome!
Having spent time in Tallahassee I know that a leaking vehicle has to be crazy. When I was there the Doak Parking lot used to flood horribly and it would get over the bottom door seals, in other words it RAINED. There are a lot of people on here that can (and will) help you, not only with your leak issue but anything and everything else you do to your Jeep.
Go Noles!

Thanks zstair. I have had the jeep 2 months and we have had a couple down pours. This forced me to do the two vehicle shuffle for the garage space. Ultimately, I see it as a challenge that needs to be solved before spring and summer come.
My leak is coming from under the door and rolling over the trim and onto the floorboard. Towards the front right before my sill guards start. I am pretty sure this is common. I did another leak test this morning and had two small drips after 30 minutes. I think I can deal with that, but I think another test with a slightly longer peice of weather strip will do the trick.
...and yes, Go Noles =---,,>
