I've always wanted a Jeep Wrangler and I was looking for another vehicle (a fourth vehicle in our household) and decided it was time to get a JK.
I picked out a 2-door Wrangler X in Detonator Yellow that has AC (I live in AZ) and a 6 speed...no other options. In the last month, I've added 18" Sahara wheels and tires, an Airaid CAI, a throttle body spacer, factory cruise control, front and rear tube bumpers and nerf bars. The bumpers and bars are stainless steel so now I am noticing the wheels don't match as well as I'd like them to. I am looking at a set of Mickey Thompson Classic II's in a 17x9 with a 5" backspacing. Can anyone tell me whether this offset is OK for the JK? I am planning on running the BFG Rubicon tires (255/75R-17).
I have used the tech area of the forum already to install the cruise control and have been enjoying the site. I look forward to spending a lot more time (and money) on the site!

Welcome to the Forum! We've explored Arizona several times over the past few years. Last Spring we enjoyed wheeling the Bradshaw Mountains and the desert around Stanton (we are L.D.M.A. members). It is so nice to enjoy early Spring there when we have snow on the ground here.
