Hello everyone, new member here.
I purchased a 2008 Unlimited sahara in February, and have had some issues, most of which have been posted on this site.
I have some water leaks. One is at the corner of the passenger door where the door, windhshield and top all meet. dealer has tried to fix it two times now, still leaks. Will be going back for a third attempt next week. The other water leak i cant figure out. The floor carpeting sometimes gets soaked, obviously when it is raining out, but no one can figure out why. i thought maybe one of the drain plugs was missing, but thay are all in place and seem fairly tight. I'm goign to silicone them shut and see if that helps. The dealer supposedly did 6-7 hours of water testing and couldnt find a leak. The carpet gets so wet that i could literally ring water out of it like a dish rag. Anyone have the same issue?
Also have the rattle in the b pillar. thank god i found the other threads about this and will have the dealer order me the new latches. that thunk was driving me insane.
Other than that, I love my Jeep. It's my first one, it just kills me that I shelled out the kind of money I did for a brand new vehicle that has these problems. I cant understand how a lot of people live with these problems like it isnt a big deal either. Chrsyler needs to be aware of these issues so maybe they actually try to fix them.
Anyway, these boards have been a great help so far. I'm really hoping I cant get the water leaks solved.
