New JK owner So-Cal
Okay, had my JK for a few months but due to work and traveling hadn't had a chance to get it out in the wild. New to Jeeps in general and have to say I'm loving it. Finally made it out of the parking lot and up to Pismo yesterday and boy the JK didn't disappoint...beach was cake and the handled the dunes really well. Maybe a little more power would have been nice for some of the steeper dunes, but overall it was awesome.
Manual JK basically stock with tint, new wheels and duratracs, want a lift but this is as high as it gets until my parking situation changes--I've got about 3/4" clearance to get into my garage as it is.
Look forward to hooking up with you guys on some runs in the future. I've already used this forum a lot for reference so thanks for all your many posts.

Welcome to the forum! Nice JK! Hey neighbor... If you see a lifted 4-door Red Rock JK cruising on PCH to/from Redondo Beach, that's me. "BIGRED" on the hood. You'll most likely get a Jeep wave when you see me.

Its weird to say, but I actually haven't hit anything local either. I go up to Visalia/Fresno area a lot to visit with inlaws, so I've only done some offroading there. There's an ORV area north of Azusa near the San Gabriel River thats only like an hour away. They're currently building a rockpile obstacle course right near the entrance... we could go check that out sometime.
I know there's a lot of good trails in Big Bear too, and Rolling Flats(?) off the 14, not too far.
