Hi everybody, i recently purchased an 09 Rubicon Unlimited. I previously built a '94 wrangler and sold it but my addiction to 4-wheeling brought me back. I can't wait to start building up the JK and am trying to figure out what to do first! Any thoughts?

Took the Rubicon to the Rubicon before making the first payment

First suggestion is the lift. I am sure you are pretty familiar with the steps of a build, so stick to what you know. Welcome to the forum.

The hard part is trying to determine which lift kit and whether or not i want to lift in stages or go all out at the beginning. When i built my last jeep i went in stages so i could actually learn how to drive it offroad... One thing is for sure , i cannot wait to get started!

Nice rig... I like that new color.

You went to the Rubicon already?
Did you actually complete the trail with a stock Rubi? I've heard that's doable, but the Jeep doesn't often come out looking exactly the same as it did going in, lol.

Great rig. Welcome aboard.

I think I would recommend starting with some recovery equipment. My new Jeep pushed me to listen to the call of the wild and I really needed a snatch strap, hi-lift with winch kit, first aid kit etc. to get started safely.

Next I went with an OME lift and winch bumper but everyone will have a different path.
