Just bought a 2016 of copart a few weeks ago and have been getting it back into shape. Have some questions about lifts and tires especially. Look forward to interacting with everyone.

Welcome to the Forum, I'm new here too but have already picked up a few more things I want to do to my jeep here. I used to live in Fayetteville NC, what part are you in?

Cool, I was stationed at FT Bragg about 18 years ago.

I haven't done anything significant yet but will in a few more years.

Welcome aboard. At the top of the Modified section, you will see a sticky with Dirtman's thoughts on lifts. That has some great reading material for people just getting started, and will answer a lot of general questions right off the bat.

Be warned that lifting a jeep is more often than not more costly and entailed than new owners plan for. Once you alter one thing on a jeep, you're affecting multiple other things in the system. Just do your research and budget accordingly so there are no real surprises. One thing newer people don't really account for is addressing steering components when lifting, and they are just as important if not more so than the suspension components.
