New to JK, not to Jeeps
Hi all... just purchased a 2007 2dr Sahara 6-spd with Dual Top and 24k on the clock. Traded in my 2003 TJ with 2 piece hardtop, Viking frameless soft top and lunch-box lockers front/rear.
Looking forward to becoming a part of the community and getting some mods started!
The ride sure is nice in the new JK, and for the first time ever the little Mrs. and I can hold a conversation in the jeep without resorting to shouting.
This is my 5th CJ/Wrangler, and undoubtedly the best one yet. Previous Jeeps were an '86 CJ-7 with the 151 GM 4cyl and constant vacuum leaks, a bruiser of an '84 CJ-7 with a 258 and Clifford Fuelie on a kidney-crushing 8" lift with 37s, a mild mannered '92 YJ Sahara with Olive Drab matte paint (looked great at first, but tough to keep in good condition). Then, my TJ and now the JK.
Out with the Old:
In with the new!
