New to JK Forum from New Orleans
Hey everyone. I go by Vince and I'm from New Orleans, LA. Um I'm actually here because I'm planning to buy my sister a black 2013 Wrangler Unlimited Sport S; I would've like to buy her a Rubicon, but it's out my budget.
Over time, I would want to do some work to it, as money allows; but before that I have a few questions before I buy it though, hope you guys can help me out.
1. If I get her the 3-piece hard-top Jeep, will I be able to replace it with the color-matched? I don't think she cares but I think having it body-matched looks better.
2. She wants a lift but it's also a daily. I was thinking of putting a 4" lift and run 35" tires on 20" wheels. Question is: what's the best bang for my buck lift? I've read that budget boosts were good, but not really sure what that is lol. This is my first "lifted" truck.
My current truck is a black dropped '11 Tundra, so lifting a Jeep isn't my speciality.

On the 4" lift, that's just what I think will look good. I see a lot of people going 3.5> to clear 35"s; if that's what you guys recommend, I'll be open minded.
I also heard from someone that I would have to extend some stuff for everything to work, is that true? Like I said, I'm lost in this field
