Default New To Jeeps (x2)

Greetings from South of Boston. I'm Gibeon, Gib, Dave, or David (my real name). I'm very happy to have found the JK forum, and I'm sure to be asking lots of questions.

I don't have a Jeep... yet. But hopefully will by next summer.

Background
Born and raised in San Antonio, TX. Ended up in Boston for College, lived a few years in La La Land (Los Angeles, CA), and have been back in the Boston area for the last 9 years (this week, in fact).

Recent History (and why "new x2")
I started switching careers almost 2 years ago, to get into architecture. I worked for almost a year in an architectural firm, and I've been going to school at night for architecture for the past year and half. l I was laid off this past January and haven't found a job until today, when I got the call that I'll be selling Jeeps (and Chryslers and Dodges, but the Jeeps are what I'm looking forward to most).

Glad to be here.

Thanks,
Gib

Wait till you get yours, when you're talking to customers you won't be able to shut up about what great, and fun vehicles they are

congrats on the job too btw.

He's right! I usually sell more Jeeps when I walk in the showroom than the salesguy standing there! Just because they can sense the passion I feel versus the crap they usually get. I am sure you will be different though, especially if you end up getting one yourself.

Welcome to the site. I think it ought to be required all jeep salesmen have to own one so they know more about them and share the passion.
