New jeeper, Advise please?
Hi,
I am new to offroading, and don't have a jeep yet.
I recently became interested in jeeps and offroading I found Project-JK through youtube watching various jeep videos and came across Wayalife's channel.
With my growing interest in jeeps I started researching the net and formus to see what people had to say about jeeps. I have found this site helpful with information on 4x4ing that I haven't seen on other sites such as the offroading 101 or however it was posted along with tons of other information.
It's not a JK but here is one of the jeeps I am looking at.
2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. This jeep is in excellent, like new condition with only 32,500 miles. Rubicon edition with Dana 44 locking axles front and rear, 4 to 1 Rock Trac transfer case and 6 speed transmission. Full roll bar, A/C, cruise control, seat covers. This Jeep has a 4 1/2 inch Rubicon Express short arm lift. Five 33x12.50x15 BFG mud terrains on Pro Comp alloy rims. Garvin Wilderness bumpers front and rear with swing away rear tire carrier and jamboree and gas can racks, and tow package. Serious inquiries only please. $22,000 obo
I spoke with him on the phone and he said he would include the stock bumpers, a bikini top and an AME induction system. There is also some kind of roll-cage he didn't mention in the add.
Advise welcome.
