Default New Jeep owner from Washington State!

Hey all! Just bought my 2013 Black JKU in June and immediately made a road trip with my girlfriend down the coast to LA. Had a ton of fun in the summer with the top and doors off! Can't wait to save up some money and finally get her trail worthy. First on the list is some new wheels and tires. Im thinking 33x12.5 Duratracs on 15in Procomp 152s!

Only thing I miss is going fast. I already have 13,000 miles on it and can't wait to get it out on some trails!
I've been lurking on the forums since before I bought it and have learned a lot and built up a huge wish list!
Looking forward to meeting you guys at future meets!

Greg

Welcome to the Forum and a great big welcome from the Dry side of Washington. Once you get on the trails youll forget all about going fast and will instead crave going slow. Hopefully they'll have truck and jeep fest up in Puyallup next spring and you can make it up there. Lots of cool rigs and great deals on parts.

Forget the 33s and go for 35s.

Thanks! I'm itching bad to get out and wheel! Should be getting wheels and tires next month depending on how much more I spend on Christmas haha
I'm hoping to make it to at least a couple of the meets around here. A friend from work has told me about a few so if I can get the days off I'm planning on going.

I definitely love the look for 35s but I dont wheel enough to get the full benefit from them. I also dont want to pay for the drivetrain upgrades that Id want to get to back up the 35s. Plus they are a lot more expensive than 33s.... after the 33s lose tread Im planning on doing more upgrades and will get 35s then!
