In Iowa itself, beyond level B roads, the only off roading will be via clubs, and their club accessible areas. There are no public access off road parks for full size 4x4s in Iowa.

Missouri has several places, and there is Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, and further away yet Arkansas, Texas, etc.

Check out the Midwest section for our area specifically, and within there is a thread listing off road parks in the midwest

Several of us on here from Iowa, but not sure of any clubs closer to that side of the state.

I wish there were places to go. There used to be an open area in Solon but that is now closed to Full Sized vehicles. Twice a year if you belong to a club you can go to Make it or Break it (www dot miobi dot org) on Labor and Memorial day. I think there are other places in central IA or on the western side of the state. There are places in Indiana and southern Illinois to go as well. They would probably be closer and better places. I believe there are some people on various forums that have private land as well.

Welcome to the forums.
