new guy in texas (for now at least)
whats up guys
new guy here. currently live in dfw, texas but will soon change due to the marines. looking at picking up a silver 2007 jk soon (hopefully)and had a few questions. first off here are my plans, give me your opinions
3" pro comp lift
35x12.5x17 toyo open country or mickey thompson claw radial tires
17x9 krager wheels (black)
warn front and back bumpers
magnaflow exhaust
cold air intake
warn powerplant winch
so does this list sound pretty good? now for a question.......ok i am big into sportbikes also and have a 1000rr. since i am going to be relocating in about a month i will need to transport the bike. my plan is to leave the jeep stock until i get to my new duty station (most likely yuma, az but COULD change if i get my way) would a stock jeep be capable of hauling a bike on a trailer at least 600 miles or more?? what kind of power would i lose with the list above? which tires would be best for a daily driver with off road trips on the weekends for mudding, hunting, and camping? been wanting a jeep for a while and since the wife got her new car its my turn!! i have an f150 now but its just not as fun as i know a jeep would be. also, can the stock tire carrier handle a 35" tire??
