Default new guy from Reading, PA

i just bought a black 2007 JKU 4door from a Jeep dealer in Elizabethtown, PA (about an hour from my house).

My first question .... what the largest tire that I can put on without any kind of a lift.
planning on using 17" rims, I know 255 are stock, so thinking maybe 285 ? (32.75" dia.)

Welcome to the forum. I work in Reading and there are plenty of people on here from the area. With stick suspension 32" is as large as you can go without any rubbing during wheeling.
Tons of great info on here look around and read a lot! And post some pics!

Grew up and reading and now live in Lancaster. Welcome to the club.

You can technically get some 35s on there without a lift but you would be really close on clearance. Off-roading would make them rub.

I lived in Etown for a few months, but just moved out to Harrisburg in April.

But anyway, welcome to the forum!

Some people run 33s, but there are other things to consider. You'll need either new wheels with more backspacing, or spacers. If you go Offroad and disconnect your sway bar, you're going to rub. It's pretty easy and inexpensive to add a level kit, that'll get you 2" up front and 1" in the rear.

Anyway welcome, I'm from Pottstown.
