New guy from Canada
Hey guys, just purchased my JK about 1 1/2 months ago. Bought it as a winter daily driver and now i've gotten to drive it a little more, i'm really starting to like it and am feeling the 'mod bug'! This was suppose to be a car to leave stock but I don't think it's going to happen!
This is my first 4X4 and truck for that matter. I've always been into cars, mainly sport compacts. But it looks like i've seen the light!
First ideas for mods, looking to get this done before winter.
Tuff Country 1.75" Lift
Crager Soft 16X8's
Undecided on tires, cannot make up my mind. Either Maxxis Bighorn's or General Grabbers. The Bighorns look WAY more aggressive but i'm concorned with them on ice. We have a solid 6 month winter here.
Anyways, this looks like an awesome forum with lots of good info!

Congrats on the jeep, condolences on your location... I can't take anymore than 3 months of winter.

Another new JK, from Winnipeg!!!!
Well, a few things:
1. You must post some pic's of your new Jeep!!!
2. Don't forget to attend in the Jeep jamboree on Sep 22 in the Red River Co-op speedway!!!
it's free and you will get a great chance to test your JK and your off road skills!!!
See detail in this link.
3. Don't forget to buy "JK-Forum Area Decals - Canada" for your Jeep! (Click here!)
4. You and me have a lot in common!
A. Even though I live at Anola, I spend most of my time in Winnipeg,
B. I too, got my First Jeep (and my first 4X4) a few weeks ago!
C. I also bought my JK for winter and was meant to leave Stock... and like you it become my Daily Driver, I have now a very long mod wish list!
Welcome to the forum!
...and if by chance you see a Stock, Stone White, Unlimited Rubicon... (it's rare in Winnipeg ) don't forget to wave at me!!!

welcome fellow canuck! For tires, strongly consider the goodyear duratracs. They are a MT/AT crossover with an aggressive look, and they are winter rated; key for Winnipeg . Do a search on them on this forum and see what you find.
