I've been browsing this forum for a couple of months now, and since my Unlimited now has a ship date from the factory, I thought it was about time to introduce myself.

I live in Mesa, AZ, a suburb of Phoenix. My first vehicle was a '78 CJ-7, but I haven't had a Jeep since then. Always had 4 wheel drive, but it was always an SUV since we needed a family car. The kids are older now, and I always missed my Jeep, so I'm getting back into it. Yeah! Of course the Unlimited is pretty much a family friendly Jeep. I wish they had come out with it 20 years ago.

Yeah the Unlimited JK is family friendly, but that sure does not mean it's not capable. I can do things with mine that I could only dream of doing in my YJ.

Thanks for the invite! I probably won't make it to this one. I doubt that it will even be delivered by then. But where are you guys going? Coke Ovens? Rogers Trough?
