New From Calgary Alberta 2011 2dr Mango JK
Hi there, hailing from Calgary Alberta Canada. This is my second JK.
So in December of 2010 I went back to work after a 2 year sabbatical. When I left work I had sold my 2007 Rubi 2dr auto (only mods were a winch and mopar winch bumper)
When I went back to work the first thing I did was buy a new 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Smiley The reason for Rubicon is I like to wheel my Jeep, so having the 4:1 transfer case, sway disconnect, and Dana 44 front and rear.
Here she is the day I bought her.
About a week later I drove home from Medicine Hat at night and realized the stock headlights on the JK are somewhere between brutal and downright ****ing horrible so I ordered up a Hella 4 Upgrade and with the help of Drew (my middle son) we installed the new headlights and wiring harnesses for the JK
After a trip or two wheeling out at Waiperous I got tired of "borrowing" other guys air so I bought and installed an ARB onboard compressor.
Also that week I installed a CB Radio for communication with the guys on the trails.........makes for much more fun when you can shoot the **** when wheeling.
After taking out a fender flare and creasing the door.
I figured maybe I should lift it a bit so i bought Old Man Emu 2" Lift Kit, add in HD springs, OME long travel shocks, Currie Long travel track bars and all in all it runs it too about a 4" Lift.
Before Measurement
After Measurement
Well after the lift..........seemed it looked kinda like a skate board on the 32" stock tires so I started looking for some new meats for the beast and got the deal of deals on Kijiji 5 basically brand new Eagle Alloy offroad rims and 5 80 to 90% new Hancook DynaPro MT's 35"s ($900 for the five and sold my takeoffs for $750 so essentially upgraded to 35's for $150) after we got them home my helper helped install them.
After we got them on I had to do a couple of Poser shots of course.
Waiting for the bumper is a Kingone 9.5i 10,000 lbs winch with synthetic line.
Also have my Poison Spyder JK Brawler LT should be in Wednesday, hit it with the rattle can then put the factory fogs in and install.
Here she is with her Rocky Mountain Hubcaps on

The next step in the Rubi's evolution was to give her something to pull
M101 Military Trailer.
Initial work will be to get it stripped painted, rewire lights, check fix emergency brake probably go coilovers and 35's, fix the hitch and go back to the pintle that is there, add a lid and some brackets for (shovel, gas, axe spare etc)
Second stage will be likely a tent topper for her.
