My first Jeep

My first Jeep
Hello all. The first saturday of May 09 I drove from Nashville to Danville, VA to get my 2009 rubicon. No dealer would give me a rubicon for the price I wanted and were not very competitive (one of the dealers I visited is now closed). It took over a month but I found this rubicon online and it is exactly what I had in mind (minus the nav system). There were a lot of X models around here at the time and very few rubicons so maybe that is why they would not deal with me. I wanted the rubicon because of the upgrades on it compared to the X which make it great value and suit my off road needs for the life of the jeep. At some point I think i'll go with a 2.5" lift and 33" but not until i get it paid off.
I have 1600 miles on it now (550 by the time I got back to Nashville) and am yet to get it off road. I just took level 2 of the Chartered Financial Analyst Exam June 6 so since October that has really been my main focus. However, I am planning on going to Wooly's on the 20th. I can't wait. I've seen videos and pictures of stock jeeps off road and I'm ready to put mine in similar situations. I have not been off road since I took my '99 frontier up left hand canyon outside of boulder, co. By the way, when I sold my frontier I had about 220,000 miles and it was still running great! I hope my new jeep gives me the same great service as my nissan.
