Wink Looking for a roof rack

New owner of a JK Sahara with the tow group, 18" wheels and two tops. I got a jeep parts catalog and am very pleased with aftermarket pricing of parts compared to the 2003 LR Discovery I traded in. In looking for a roof rack, the off road logic rack caught my eye. Anyone have any experience with it or the company?

If you do a search in the Modified section there are some comments on the Off Road Logic rack, most negative. Also Quadratec has the Garvin Roof rack.

I'll be starting to fab up one for my 2 door this weekend. Pics will come with progress. Hope everything goes as planned.

Welcome to JK-Forum.

Thanks for steering me to the comments on racks. Aftrer reading a few threads, my considerations for a rack that will work for me are: Will it work with both hard top and soft top without a hardware change? Does it have enough clearence so the soft top does not slap it at highway speeds? Can I get the soft top back half way and drive like this with the rack on? Do the mounts look sturdy and not home made? Can it support a roof top tent? For now it looks like the wildnerness Expedition or the JKracks.com . I need to get it on before the snow falls in Minnesota

Check on this thread re: install of the Garvin Rack: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...rvin+roof+rack

I had one on my old TJ and can attest to the quality.

I've been pretty happy with the Warrior Safari Rack, works great with the hard top don't know about the soft top. Welcome to the site.
