Just signed on to the site. Got the new 4 door Unlimited about two weeks ago...

Love this forum! So far the mods include installing a reverse camera (so I can see my 18 month old daughter wandering around the driveway...(not that we let her...but you never can be too safe with toddlers!), hooked the monitor up to the DVD video feed, mounted an extinguisher, found some canoe handles for rear grab handles, drilled the mirrors and next up is a grill mod! Pics will come...eventually...

You guys (and gals) are a wealth of info so thanks to all who have posted how-to's. (and of course to the administrators!! - WOL - thanks for helping with the registration so quickly)

Also, you don't know how lucky you are in the States...in Western Australia (where I live) you have a choice of about 2 Jeep parts businesses. Hooray for web-shopping!!!

It's a long drive from my place to Sydney! About 4000 odd miles (one way)...and I don't want to show it off *that* badly!

When I post the pics (probably on the show and tell area) you'll be able to see the differences between the Aussie and US versions (other than the side we steer from). Mainly the bumpers...our government believe in keeping us safe...bicycle helmets are law here! (Not for driving...yet)

My mate looked at the front bumper and said "Cool...a bench seat on the front".

Saw a few (mostly black 4 doors) before we bought...but not one since!

Loving the jeep. I had a 2006 TJ which I traded...needed the extra doors for my 18 month old daughter.
