Default JK Wheel Tire Help....

I have a stock 07JKU and are looking to get the Fuel trophy wheels on toyo open country ATII but have some concerns with the backspacing and offset. The 18x10s with a 4.5 backspacing have a -24mm offset. I am not lifting the jeep yet and don't want to run into rub/fit issues, so i was told 4.5 bs is a must. with that said will a 5.0 bs with -12mm offset work or will i have clearance issues, or should i stick with the -24mm(4.5bs) rims. and how much will they end up sticking out, and will that mess up anything else mechanically with the jeep. Thanks

4.5" BS is about bare minimum for 12.50" tires.

The width of your tires are 11.50". While you will most likely be fine running these tires on 5" of BS, if you ever want to move up to a 12.50" wide tire, you would need wheel spacers or 4.5" of BS.

"Q: What back spacing will I need on my wheels in order to clear 12.50 wide tires?
A: I would recommend that you do not exceed 4.75" of back spacing and even at that, you may still have some minor rubbing up front at a full turn. Also, I would recommend that you do not go any less than 3.75" as anything less would cause your tires to stick out very far past the fender flares. Any back spacing within this range should work out great. PLEASE NOTE: When discussing tire size, DO NOT take into consideration what the "actual size" of the tire is but rather, just what is listed on the sidewall. "

You'll be fine mechanically with either wheels.
