Hello Jkers! I am Holly and am from Los Angeles, married with 2 boys 19 & 14.

Joined a little while ago and got our WU 3 months ago. In three years I had two Dodge Nitros and we Lemoned both of them. There was no way we were going to go with another Nitro. The best fit for our family was the WU. We got a 2010 Sport S with the hardtop in Surf Blue.

We are very happy with our Jeep so far. We have had the top off more than on. But today being 112 degrees it was a wee bit too hot for being topless!

I added a couple of sets of photos - our Jeep and the top rack that the hubby made.

Next couple of months I won't be posting too much because we are getting ready for Halloween but after that I hope to be more present.

AS far as teh Nitro situation....i got to drive one....once....as a rental vehicle. I immediatly wanted to fire it out of a cannon into the sun. Not very impressed. Glad to see you upgraded!

I actually loved my Nitro! Like the poem goes.... When it was good it was very, very good but when it was bad it was horrid. I think that my Nitros were bipolar. But it is awesome not having to take my vehicle into the dealer every 3 to 4 weeks for a fix. For a split second I contemplated getting a third - going up to an R/T - but the possibility of many more dealer trips, possibility of death, oh and the threat of a divorce by the hubby changed my mind real quick. LOL!

As for pics.... enjoying the view.

 

Sorry to hear about the bad luck with the nitro, but you're gunna be super happy with the jk. And I like the look of the blue color too!

Welcome to the club and i think you meant to say JK not WU ? Any way enjoy the Jeep and nice looking cart for the hardtop.

 

Being new to the Jeep thang.... WU = Wrangler Unlimited. Am I not supposed to use that name versus JK? Sorry if I got that wrong...?

 

Thanks for the rack compliment! It made stowing the top so much easier.

Before we would take the top off, turn it up, carry through a gate, turn it back down and place onto the horses. Now we just lift, turn, set down and roll trough the gate onto the patio. I am not a wimp but before was just too much for this old gal!
