Default I'll be Back & I Am

Had a 2010 JK Unlimited and sold it in 2012. I bought a full size Dodge Crew Cab Cummins because I needed it to haul things. Dodge is now paid for :-) I picked up a 2015 JK Rubicon , 4:10's Auto, etc. I must say there's a noticeable performance difference b/t the 2010 motor and the 2015. Seems Jeep continues to upgrade the interior. I like the plan Jane interior look, I think it's more functional for offload; however, I understand there are lot of mall crawlers used my soccer moms and the Unlimited is keeping the product line alive.

On my 2010 Rubicon Unlimited I have a 4" lift, 35" tires, warn winch, etc. For my 2015 I'm really enjoying the drivability of the 2 door. It's like drive a smart car on steroids.

Having done a bunch of search and rescue off road training and attended LA County Sheriff's off road training course, I've seen and learned a stock Rubi is very capable when the driver has learned the technical processes for off roading.

I'm sure in the 5 years that I was away, technology has improved the lift kits, electrical systems etc., Right now, my new 1/2 a truck will remain stock while I start researching.

Welcome back! I'm in a similar boat, only I started with a TJ, sold it for an econo-commuter, and now I'm back with a JK 2dr Willys.

Kept mine stock for a couple weeks, then the OEM headlights had to go once I saw the other options available nowadays.

Good luck with the new Rubi!
