Hi from Denver, CO
Greetings all. Total newb to the Jeep scene. Always a go fast car guy but due to recent job relo out to Denver, CO figured it was time to ditch the go fast attitude and start enjoying the scenery out here. Always liked the Jeeps so picked up my '12 JKU Sport a week ago.
Here are a couple pics after taking it up some trails with Pikes Peak in the background. Family is loving it and looking forward to all it can take/show us.
I'm picking up some Rubi Rails today for it and excited to see what else is in store for it.

Thanks guys! Definitely look forward to meeting some of you.
That was up on Rampart Range. We took Dankin up to it and had a blast! Last weekend we hit up Platte River which was OK. The washboarding that goes on here is extremely annoying. I too usually have my wife and two kids. My buddy has an FJ so we typically find someplace to go.
I came out of a BMW 335i. Had the twin turbo but I had a chip in it that pushed it almost to 400HP. Was most definitely the ultimate driving machine. The little car would move. Loved it but the views and scenery to be had here are worth the trade in speed

I lived in Parker for awhile when I was assigned out there. I miss the mtns and all the weekend escapes we took. One of my favorite places to go was Echo lake/Mt Evans. I didnt have the Jeep back then, but would have put it to good use. There are so many places to get off the beaten path and explore.
Enjoy it.

Yeah, I'm kind of surprised there isn't a Denver or Colorado area within the Staging Area of JK-Forum. Figured there would be lots of us here
