Hey y'all from Charlotte, NC
I am a new owner of a 2010 2-door JK with the new Dark Charcoal Pearl paint scheme (which is totally awesome if you have not seen the color) and new to the JK-Forum web site. I already have a MASSIVE list of mods that I want to perform based on my time on the forum. So thank you to all of you who have posted write ups and questions...it is real helpful for a newbie like myself.
A little about myself...I am a consultant for a management and IT consulting firm based in Chicago, IL but am located in Charlotte, NC where I commute to the client location every week Monday through Thursday. My JK is a daily driver (as in on the weekends when I am home) but will see some off road time here in the near future.
I currently have done only performance modifications as I wanted to get the power first then work on the lift and stature. I have put in a AEM BruteForce CAI, Superchips Flashpaq and a Magnaflow Performance Cat Back exhaust and LOVE the new found power and acceleration.
If anyone is located in Charlotte, I would love to get a group of guys together who can get together for a Uwharrie trip and/or Mod Days where we can help each other out on a weekend install new parts, toys and mods.
Look forward to hearing from everyone and especially those located near Charlotte. Take care.

welcome!
as a prior owner of a CAI, be carefull of water crossings. it's more difficult to pull mud through a CAI and hydrolock, but i hydrolocked my motor at OBX in 25"' water at 20MPH. (yes, if i went slower, probably wouldn't of had any issues?). i've since then removed my CAI!
another note, once you go with taller tires you'll want to consider re-gearing and with the 3" lift you may need an aftermarket axle or cut on your transmission skid to prevent rub.
there's a ton of info out here, some good some just chatter. but check-out WOL's (one of the admin guys) write-ups and read some of his posts.
